Membership & Points

Christie2.jpgIf you enjoy participating in any realm of equine activities, and have a special interest in the Appaloosa breed, we welcome you to join us! Palmetto Appaloosa Horse Club is continually growing, and broadening horizons. We currently offer one registered show per year, an open show circuit, trail rides, and meetings. We are all looking forward to 2008 to be a terrific year! Individual memberships are only $10, youth memberships for $5, or family memberships for $25.

Got Spots? Get Points!

DSCI0019.JPGIf you participate with either a ApHC registered or non-registered Appaloosa (non-registered Appaloosas must have characteristics) in any type of showing, you may be eligible for year-end awards with the Palmetto Appaloosa Horse Club. We offer awards for horses shown in the ApHC circuit, as well as horses who are shown in open shows or other events such as Hunter/Jumpers, Dressage, Reining, Cutting, or Barrel Racing just to name a few.  At the end of the year we award several categories including Overall, English, Western, Halter, and Games for Adults and Youth! Nominate your horse for only $10.

Saddle Log Program

DSCI0027.JPGNot interested in showing? You can still be eligible for awards. Our saddle log program awards the adult and youth rider/horse combination who has logged the most riding hours, no matter what it's for. Ride for pleasure, trail riding, endurance...just keep track of those hours, and send them in to the club secretary every three months. Again, we do ask that you submit membership, nominate your horse, and participate in the club by at least simply attending two of our monthly meetings or assisting at functions.
